Islamic Games Weightlifting competitions to be held in Baku, on May 12-22, continue. Today, women in 69 kg weight category got on the platform. In this weight category, Fidan Huseynzade competed, along with Anastasia Ibrahimli. In snatch, Fidan lifted 69 kg and in clean and jerk, she could lift 88 kg. She took the 7th place with total 157 kg (69+88) result.
After the competition, she shared her impressions with AAAF Tv:
“ Even if I did not win, my performance was good. I seriously prepared for this competition, but failed to win medal. I congratulate our National team’s athletes who win medals”.
