On February 8, Azerbaijan Weightlifting Championship among masters has taken place in the competition hall of Shuvelan Weightlifting Academy. In the competition, athletes of various ages struggled for medals. The winners were determined based on the Sinclair and Manone-Meltzer schedule.<\/p>\n

71 years old athlete Vladimir Jilyayev prevailed with a total of 160kg (70+90) result and 369.30 points. Zafar Taghiyev finished second with 225kg (102+123) and 345.16 points, while Namig Jamilov came third with 265 kg (120+145) and 339.55 points.<\/p>\n
