Azerbaijan Championship, between men, women and veterans holding in the competition hall of AZE WF Academy, in Shuvelan, on March 24-25, continues. In the competition which is organized by Azerbaijan Youth and Sports Ministry and Azerbaijan Weightlifting Federation, approximately 100 athletes from all regions of country take part.<\/p>\n

At the end of the day, the medalists in 69 kg weight category became known. The winner was Pasha Ibrahimli with a total of 288 kg (133+155) result. The 2nd<\/sup> place was taken by Kenan Khalilov with a total of 276 kg (133+143) result and Fugan Aliyev was bronze medalist with 267 kg (122+145) result.<\/p>\n

The aim of this championship, dedicated to the 100th<\/sup> of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, is to increase and improve the athletes’ skill levels, select technically trained athletes, determine the composition of National teams and to prepare for the following international competitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
