Azerbaijan Championship, between men, women and veterans holding in the competition hall of AZE WF Academy, in Shuvelan, on March 24-25, continues. In the competition which is organized by Azerbaijan Youth and Sports Ministry and Azerbaijan Weightlifting Federation, approximately 100 athletes from all regions of country take part.<\/p>\n

Athletes up to 62 kg weight categories got on the platform. Allahyar Abishov got on the highest step of honorary chair with 245 kg (110+135) result. The 2nd<\/sup> place was taken by Ruslan Rzazade with a total of 241 kg (105+136) result and Elmaddin Huseynov was bronze medalist with 240 kq (108+132) result.<\/p>\n

The aim of this championship, dedicated to the 100th<\/sup> of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, is to increase and improve the athletes’ skill levels, select technically trained athletes, determine the composition of National teams and to prepare for the following international competitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
