Azerbaijan Championship, between men, women and veterans, to be held in the competition hall of AZE WF Academy, in Shuvelan, on March 24-25, started. In the competition which is organized by Azerbaijan Youth and Sports Ministry and Azerbaijan Weightlifting Federation, approximately 100 athletes from all regions of country take part.<\/p>\n

First, the women athletes got on the platform. Absolute winners were determined by the Sinclair table. Sabina Azimova was gold medalist with total 169 kg (74+95) result and 253.42 sinclair points. Elnara Abbasova was silver medalist with 183 kq (80+103) result and 243.91 points and got on the second step of honorary chair and Marziyya Maharramova owned bronze medal with total 149 kq (66+83) result and 236.17 points.<\/p>\n

The aim of this championship is to increase and improve the athletes’ skill levels, select technically trained athletes, determine the composition of National teams and to prepare for the following international competitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
