The 26th Men\u2019s and 17th Women\u2019s World Masters Weighlifting Championship had been held in Ciechanow the city of Poland on 18 \u2013 25 of September, 2010. There were approximately 500 athletes from 40 countries.
\nAccording to the results, Akif Aliyev won the Championship in M \u2013 4 group, 56kg weight category leaving behind the polish and Russian competitors.
\nOur other athlete Hafis Suleymanov taken part in M – 2 group, 69 kg weight category leaving behind competitors gained the first place.
\nTwo other lifters of ours Asif Malikov and Ahmad Shahbuzov taken part in M \u2013 1 group, 69kg and 94kg weight categories, showed the best results in their weight categories and were honoured with champions of World.<\/p>\n

Akif Aliyev \u2013 threefold European and World Masters champion, world record-holder ( he has defined 6 world records).
\nHafis Suleymanov \u2013 the winner of USSR championships among juniors,seniors and men, the champion of European and World Men\u2019s championship, world record-holder, the golden-winner of World Masters Championship in 2010.
\nAsif Malikov \u2013 Sport master with international degree, the participants of 2 Olympic Games (Atlant and Athene),the prize-winner of European and World Men\u2019s Championships,the silver-winner of World Masters Games, the golden-winner of World Masters Championship in 2010.
\nAhmad Shahbazov \u2013 twofold European Masters and the champion of World Masters.<\/p>\n
