The competition, which will be attended by 734 athletes (395 men and 339 women) from 105 countries, will have the license character to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Three members of National team participate in the championship as well.

One of them, Sabina Azimova, joined the struggle in the C group of the 55kg bodyweight category. The athlete got the fourth place of this group with a total of 181 kg (79 + 102).

The place taken by Azimova in the final ranking will be known after the competitions in Group B and A.

In the competition, attended by 401 athletes (187 women and 214 men) from 42 nations, the members of National team have also joined the struggle.

Kanan Khalilov (73kg), Kanan Aliguliyev (81kg), Nailkhan Nabiyev and Kamran Ismayilov (both-96kg), Alish Nazarov (102kg) boarded the platform under the guidance of Asif Mammadov. We introduce you all videos of their performances:
